As the sales-oriented marketing organisation of Switzerland’s No. 1 holiday destination, we live and breathe Graubünden. In close cooperation with our partners in the tourism sector in the canton of Graubünden, our goal is to attract new visitors to the area. Through our involvement in Germany, the Benelux countries, Great Britain, Poland and the Czech Republic we facilitate our partners‘ entry onto those markets, foster close relations with the clientele and offer professional support in the implementation of projects. We do this via our own representatives (market delegates) and in collaboration with Switzerland Tourism.
On behalf of the Canton, we are also responsible for managing the Graubünden regional brand. And with the newly launched Graubünden e-platform, we are tackling the international market with what is a pioneering distribution platform for our sector. It allows travel agents to book Graubünden-based tourism services simply and quickly.
With a budget of around 10 million SFr. per year, we currently have 31 employees based at our headquarters in Chur and within the overseas markets.
Graubünden is the land of the ibex. It is not only our heraldic animal and trademark, it is also the star and hero of our Graubünden advertising campaign. Within a short space of time, the humorous commercials with “Gian and Giachen”, the talking ibexes, have become famous far beyond the borders of Switzerland. We can look forward to further stories from the lives of two ibexes in the future!
