Flims Laax Falera

Surselva ("above the forest", meaning the Flims Grosswald forest) is the Romansh linguistic and cultural area between Trin and the Oberalp Pass. The major tourism regions of Flims Laax Falera and Disentis-Sedrun (at the foot of the source of the Rhine) with their big snow sports resorts and events on the mountains are not only extremely attractive in the winter, they also offer numerous sporting and cultural activities in the summer.

Both tourism centres are surrounded by a variety of family-friendly holiday regions such as Obersaxen, Val Lumnezia or Brigels-Waltensburg-Andiast. Magical and mystical experiences are promised by the megaliths in Falera, the Rhine gorge (Ruinaulta) below Flims or the world-famous thermal rock springs in Vals.
