Salginatobel Bridge, Schiers

The Salginatobel Bridge crosses the Salgina Gorge at a height of over 90 metres. This design gem of a bridge was opened to traffic in 1930. In 1991, the bridge, built by civil engineer Robert Maillard, received the highest distinction possible when it was declared a World Monument (such as, for example, the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Statue of Liberty in New York).

Getting There

Take the train from Landquart to Schiers (13 Min.) – transfer to PostAuto – get off at the Salginatobelbrücke stop (Salginatobel Bridge) (12 Min.).
