You do not have to pack much more than sturdy shoes and sunglasses when you visit us in Bergün Filisur. However, it is important that you open your eyes and ears to the diversity of nature. Mountain lakes, chamois, alpine flowers: years ago on my way to the interview I was overwhelmed and fascinated by the landscape. I knew immediately that I will feel at home here. As Information Centre Manager it is my job to convey this feeling to our guests – and give them tips for a memorable vacation. Welcome!

A major highlight of the region is the Kesch Trek. Up in the Bündner Mountains guests forget about their everyday lives down in the valley. Between the Flüela and Albula pass, the quiet and spectacular world of the high mountains opens up to the visitor. Three SAC-cabins, the Grialetsch Cabin, the Kesch Cabin and the Es-cha Cabin have joined together to offer the Kesch Trek as a four-day hike.

Alternatively, visitors can experience the mountains by train. The journey goes from Preda to Bergün, past the engineering structures of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB), a railway section, which is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The views from the windows are spectacular and guaranteed to give you goosebumps.

Many of our guests feel compelled to go on exploring our sunny paths taking them across mountain passes and glaciers. A hike to the clear mountain lakes Crap Alv Laiets is always worthwhile, as well as an evening barbecue at the Lai da Palpuogna after a sunny day. Amazing how the mountains reflect in the lake during sunset... We wish you a wonderful stay and a relaxing holiday.
